About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Remedial and/or Structural Engineer to join our team in this challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site inspections, preparing technical reports and remedial designs, and overseeing the delivery of rectification works across a variety of building projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed site inspections and investigations of building façades, waterproofing, and structural elements to identify defects and issues.
  • Prepare defect reports, scopes of work, remedial design documentation, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Assist with tender evaluations and contract administration to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with strata managers, contractors, builders, and clients to ensure effective communication and project management.
  • Monitor and supervise rectification works to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and correspondence to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field)
  • Solid understanding of Australian Building Codes, Standards, and industry regulations
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with keen attention to detail
  • RPEQ, CPEng, or working towards chartership is highly regarded
  • Current driver's license and willingness to travel to sites
