Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Remedial Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our property portfolio services sector, you will be responsible for managing client relationships and providing expert engineering services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee field work, reports, and advisory services to ensure technical performance standards are maintained.
  • Work with clients to balance design or report requirements with established budgets and schedules.
  • Provide written proposals to clients that meet their needs.
  • Coordinate sub-consultants, surveyors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Undertake preliminary design discussions with clients, councils, and other relevant parties.
  • Monitor project progress and report to clients and management.
  • Document discussions with clients on project progress, tender calling, negotiations, and construction supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bring previous experience in facade/remedial engineering, working at heights training, rope access qualifications, and high-level report writing skills.
  • Understanding of building industry standards and legislation (BCA).
  • Highly developed construction and assessment skills.
  • Strong focus on time and budget deliverables.
  • Able to undertake problem-solving to derive innovative solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task projects for healthy productivity ratios.
