We are seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide expert claims handling and advocacy services to clients across various financial lines classes of business.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high-quality technical advice and support throughout the claims process.
    • Offer technical guidance on policy coverage and interpretation, advocating for clients in relation to insurer indemnity denials.
    • Manage moderate to complex claims in accordance with established processes and client service agreements.
    • Identify opportunities for claims referral and collaborate with our advocacy team on claims issues.
  • Requirements:
    • Ideally someone with 3-5 years of insurance claims experience, preferably in financial lines.
    • A law degree and experience in the legal environment and/or ANZIIF qualifications will be advantageous but not a prerequisite.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, insurers, and their respective agents and representatives.
