Senior Commercial Manager

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing commercial aspects of construction projects, including cost forecasting, contract administration and dispute resolution. They will also possess strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing the end-to-end commercial management of large subcontract and self-performed works, both directly and indirectly. They will work closely with project teams to ensure that all commercial aspects of the project are properly managed and controlled.
Key responsibilities include participating in scope of works planning, preparing procurement strategies, assisting with head contract administration, maintaining contract and good working relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with building codes at all times.
The role requires strong commercial acumen and awareness in areas of cost management and contract law, as well as knowledge and understanding of industry market conditions and movements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce or equivalent
- Post Graduate qualifications e.g. graduate certificate, graduate diploma in Commerce, Accounting, Business, Construction, Property, Quantity Surveying, Law or other associated disciplines
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry
