About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader Counselling and Youth Services Manager to join our team at Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in leading our counselling services and youth programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a dynamic team of counsellors, clinical care coordinators, and youth workers, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of excellent services.
  • Clinical Excellence: Develop and implement evidence-based practices to enhance the quality and coordination of counselling services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Operational Support: Manage service demand, client allocation, and resource utilization to ensure efficient use of resources and effective service delivery.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies, to integrate and enhance service delivery.
  • Innovation and Quality Improvement: Utilize data and research to inform service development, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance service quality and client outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, with a strong background in mental health and counselling.
  • Experience: Proven experience in leading teams, managing budgets, and making informed decisions, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Certifications: A current valid Working With Children Check, National Criminal History Check, and NDIS Safety Screening check.
