We are seeking a skilled Recovery Support Worker to join our multidisciplinary team.
Job Description:This is a full-time opportunity available in Box Hill. As a Recovery Support Worker, you will be managing a caseload of clients who require low-intensity community supports or access higher intensity/duration supports to achieve therapeutic outcomes.
Our approach focuses on empowering individuals to take control of their own recovery. You will assist clients by delivering psychosocial support to work towards identified recovery goals.
Key responsibilities include assisting clients to adopt a healthy lifestyle, minimise/reduce behaviours that are, or likely to be harmful, and develop the knowledge and confidence they need to make decisions & choices about their own support needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Experience as a case worker in mental health.
- A Bachelor qualification in Mental Health / Community Health or equivalent.
- Understanding of mental services interventions for responding to clients with complexity of needs.
- Ability to collaborate & work in partnership with Case Managers, Team Coordinator, clients, carers, family and peer workers to assess, design & review client recovery plans.
