Administration Assistant Job Description

At our esteemed childcare centre, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Administration Assistant to join our team.

This role is a vital part of ensuring our centre operates smoothly and continues to support children to become confident lifelong learners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing enrolment records, assisting with administrative and financial tasks, and contributing to our inclusive, kind and collaborative team culture.

  • Work as a friendly first point of contact for visitors to the centre
  • Assist with administrative and financial tasks
  • Manage enrolment records

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to nurture friendly and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.

You should also have:

  • A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Valid Blue Card and current Police Check (or willingness to obtain these)

Experience in a similar administration role or early childhood sector is desirable but not essential. We would love to see any qualifications in business administration.
