Principal Mechanical Engineer Role

About the Role

This is a key position within our Projects team, responsible for leading the design and delivery of mechanical services systems for various projects. As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and implement mechanical services systems, including air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree.
  • Registration as a Building Practitioner in Victoria (Mechanical).
  • At least 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with 5+ years in building services consulting.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards and Building Codes.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
