Job Description:

A leading ICT managed services provider seeks a Support Engineer to deliver support to customers in relation to private cloud offerings and accompanying managed services.

The Support Engineer will engage directly with remote end-users to provide technical assistance in Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix-based solutions. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for this client-facing role.

Daily duties include providing technical assistance via phone, email, or remote desktop, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Microsoft, VMware, and Citrix-based solutions, collaborating with internal teams to ensure effective issue resolution and customer satisfaction, developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients and co-workers, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Customer-focused approach
  • Comparable Service Desk experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 1–2 years' experience supporting Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, O365, Windows 7-10, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare, and Cloud technologies
  • Good time management, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility around shift-work, staggered between 6am and 10pm, standard business days
