Job Summary

A highly skilled Strategic Risk Management Professional is required to join our team at RSM, where you will play a key role in effectively managing projects and staff while delivering high-quality risk mitigation strategies.

About the Role

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a team of audit experts in providing tailored Risk Advisory solutions to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all engagements are completed to a high standard, within budget, and on or before deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with other divisions to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Address quality assurance issues and resolve differing views/positions with clients.
  • Manage and coordinate the audit team, including training, mentoring, and methodology compliance.
  • Maintain strong budgetary discipline and plan effective budgets.
  • Monitor staffing requirements and future resource planning issues.
  • Coach staff in dealing with complex environments and high-risk engagements.
  • Work with and influence clients at senior levels in different business environments.
  • Perform detailed reviews of audit team work and draft reports prepared.
  • Summarize key areas of engagement for partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification.
  • 6-8 years' experience in Professional Services.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
