Job Title: Program Manager - Federal Government Agency

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level policy and program advice, producing accurate and timely written documentation, communicating proactively and effectively, coordinating and overseeing procedural tasks, supervising and supporting team members, working with minimal supervision, and considering competing priorities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level policy and program advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Produce accurate and timely written documentation, including briefs, submissions, and specialist papers.
  • Communicate proactively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and oversee procedural tasks, including financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Supervise and support APS level team members.
  • Work with minimal supervision, under broad direction, to resolve issues and deliver quality outcomes in a timely way.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in Program Management role.
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking capability.
  • High-quality written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Very good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and information.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Australian Citizenship.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
