About the role:
Mental Health SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to provide high-quality mental health assessment, formulation, crisis and risk management services to children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems.
This role requires participation in providing support to the Emergency Department as part of the on-call roster during business hours and extended hours services.
About You:
Our ideal candidate will possess clinical skills in child, adolescent and family mental health, including crisis and triage management. They should have knowledge of contemporary therapeutic approaches and strong communication skills to provide professional and flexible services to clients, families and stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccination against certain vaccine-preventable diseases.
- Registration or membership with the appropriate authority or association within Australia.
- A blue card is also required for this role.
