Child Mental Health Professional
We are seeking a skilled Child Mental Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful applicant will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to children and their families, while contributing to education, research, and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning for clients with complex needs.
- Providing effective treatment plans, case management, and coordination of services to meet the needs of clients and their families.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations to develop and implement targeted interventions and programs.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to research projects to advance the field of child mental health.
Requirements:
- AAPAC-accredited qualification in Psychology or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering evidence-based assessment and interventions for children and adolescents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage caseloads and balance clinical and non-clinical responsibilities.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
