  • Lead and support case managers who assess long-term claims.
  • Own a small portfolio of complex claims across Income Protection, Death and Terminal Illness.
  • Be the team's go-to expert, sharing knowledge, coaching on best practice, and role-modeling Zurich's claims philosophy.
  • Ensure claims processes are followed, and quality standards are met, including reporting and remediation where needed.
  • Help improve how we work: review and update procedures, contribute to key projects, and find smart efficiencies.
Requirements

We are looking for an experienced professional with solid end-to-end experience in retail life claims, strong policy interpretation across different cover types, and a broad knowledge of medical, financial, legal, product and regulatory aspects of life insurance.

The ideal candidate will also have a clear grasp of the legal framework for insurance contracts and strict respect for confidentiality of medical and financial information.

We require proven ability to coach, mentor and lift team capability, customer focus, great communication skills, initiative and strong problem-solving skills.

Certificate IV in Life Insurance (preferred) would be advantageous.
