We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing general insurance claims and providing exceptional support to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of claims from initial notification to final settlement.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to clients on policy coverage and interpretation.
- Negotiate with insurers on behalf of clients to ensure their best interests are protected.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, demonstrating value and driving results.
- Collaborate with external providers, such as solicitors, loss adjusters, and investigators.
- Respond to queries from brokers and clients.
- Conduct meetings and liaise with clients, insurers, claimants, and external providers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in claims management.
- Proven customer-facing skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
