Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled professional to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary water team.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

  • Review of technical requirements
  • Site investigations and data analysis
  • Development and implementation of design solutions
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Design Engineering: Develop and implement designs for water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines
  • Site Investigations: Conduct site investigations and gather relevant data
  • Project Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage projects from initiation to completion
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, constructability, and operational practices, as well as relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Ability to identify project and design-related risks
  • Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
