Job Description

A senior leadership role in a fast-paced, product-driven business.

You will lead a team and oversee the entire planning function, maximising sales and profitability through effective merchandise management.

  • Develop strategic plans for seasonal merchandise
  • Manage, lead, guide and develop team members
  • Present financial forecasts for approval
  • Work closely with product teams through ranging processes
  • Manage inventory levels
  • Meet critical financial targets
  • Create and project planning strategies and theories

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree qualified
  • Ability to identify potential problems early
  • Extensive experience in planning, ideally in a senior position
  • Experience managing a team of at least 4 direct reports
  • Highly skilled in planning software and Excel
  • Experience in retail planning, particularly in hardgoods, apparel or accessories
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels
