Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management and assessment of clients to identify their goals and develop personalized rehabilitation plans;
- Collaboration with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
- Working with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
- Completing a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents;
- Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy;
- Registration with either AHPRA or ESSA plus SIRA Accreditation;
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
- Fabulous communication skills, compassion, kindness, and empathy;
- Well-developed time management skills;
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive car insurance.
