Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Orange, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to provide occupational rehabilitation services and support clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage client caseloads and provide individualized support to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees.
- Work with medical and allied health professionals to assess and address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for clients.
- Conduct various assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, and identify suitable employment opportunities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
- Fabulous communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy in working with clients and stakeholders.
- Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
