We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at MedHealth Group. As a key member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with injuries or health conditions to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs and goals, providing individualized support and guidance to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees.
- Work closely with medical and allied health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to ensure successful return to work outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry highly regarded.
- Fabulous communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
