Your Role:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Director, Transaction Banking Client Consulting. In this role, you'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external clients to deliver strategic outcomes for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Executive Director, Strategy & Business Performance, and Managing Director, Transaction Banking Solutions, in growing and progressing our client consulting proposition and associated activity.
  2. Drive customer engagement as part of our Client Consulting team, where we look to support frontline and elevate our relationship to trusted partner with our clients.
  3. Design and perform workshops based on meeting targeted needs of our customers.
  4. Provide coaching to our frontline teams on customer working capital and their processes.
  5. Engage with product and implementation partners to provide expertise to our clients on key industry trends and showcasing the innovation on our product development roadmap.
  6. Provide voice of customer feedback and support engagement with customers to develop quality insights into the customer experience.
  7. Work with relationship and specialist teams to identify and progress cross-sell opportunities with our clients.
  8. Identify and take accountability for delivering continuous improvement opportunities across the team and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Individuals with a strong understanding in customer financial-operations processes and awareness of the role of our solutions to meet customer working capital needs.
  2. A business member looking to strengthen their commercial and strategic acumen.
  3. Anybody looking to apply analytical and problem-solving mindsets to a combination of internal commercial and customer pain points.
  4. An individual with coaching experience to support our frontline teams.
  5. Self-starter with results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
  6. Strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills and ability to build a strong rapport with clients and work colleagues.
  7. Knowledge of transaction banking products and services including payments, cash management and merchant solutions desirable.
  8. Risk Mindset – All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks.
  9. Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business administration, information technology or a related field (or experience to reflect the same).
  10. Prior experience in finance transformation, financial services, information technology, consulting, transaction banking, or a related field.
