About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Solutions Expert to join our team in Capital Structuring. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing quantitative and analytical support to our Capital Structuring businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing innovative applications using our state-of-the-art Python based Beacon IDE
  • Partnering with various teams across the Bank to ensure systems and processes meet process, product, and technology requirements
  • Planning and implementing new initiatives to provide enhanced infrastructure to the teams in Capital Structuring
  • Analysing data and developing tools for end users to gain insights into the Bank's exposures

Requirements

  • Advanced Python knowledge and experience, or high levels of competence in other object-oriented languages
  • Strong knowledge and experience in financial modelling
  • Familiarity with web design is useful
  • Demonstrated experience with SQL databases, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong attention to detail with problem solving abilities
  • Excellent written and spoken communications skills with strong influencing and interpersonal abilities
  • A good understanding of financial markets is advantageous
  • Tertiary qualifications in a numerate, engineering and / or IT based discipline or relevant industry experience
