Job Overview

The Associate Director of Clinical Operations plays a pivotal role in overseeing regional clinical operations, ensuring the successful execution of assigned studies within quality standards. This position requires strategic oversight, leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive pipeline development and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tactical expertise for Regional Clinical Operation initiatives, driving planning, and operational delivery of assigned clinical studies.
  • Liaise with Country Clinical Operations teams, providing inputs on resource allocation, training, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee programs/clinical studies to guarantee timely implementation and progress, fostering effective partnerships with Development Operations stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

A minimum Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent is required. A postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.

Experience:

A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Clinical Operations within biopharmaceutical industries and/or CROs, including primary responsibility for clinical study execution and management.

Operational and direct managerial experience in planning, executing, and reporting of clinical studies.

Therapeutic Area Experience:

Oncology, Hematology, and Inflammatory Diseases experience is preferable.

Language Proficiency:

Business-level English proficiency is essential.

Soft Skills:

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are required.
