Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Commercial Cook. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the culinary industry and become a qualified chef.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals for our customers, in accordance with our menu and recipes.
  • Learn how to manage the kitchen, including stock control, ordering, and food preparation schedules.
  • Adhere to all health and safety standards, including food hygiene and sanitation.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
  • Learn to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Any other tasks requested by the host employer.

Requirements:

  • Have a real passion for food.
  • Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship.
  • Demonstrate a great attitude and willingness to work.
  • Be motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Be reliable, punctual, and able to demonstrate initiative.
  • Be well-presented.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Problem-solving capabilities.
  • Work well under pressure and able to demonstrate resilience.
