About the Role:

As an Apprentice Commercial Cook, you will work under the guidance of experienced chefs to learn the skills and techniques required to become a qualified commercial cook. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and adhering to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Learn and implement kitchen management systems, including stock control and ordering
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, including food hygiene and sanitation
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared
  • Develop problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
