About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at C&K Dixon St Early Years Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks to our children, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their taste buds are delighted.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals and snacks for our children, using fresh and wholesome ingredients
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our children
  • Work closely with our Kitchens Operations Supervisor to ensure smooth kitchen operations and high-quality food service
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with our team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for our children

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
  • Knowledge of menu planning and dietary requirements for young children
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A valid Blue Card and current Police Check
