C&K - The Creche and Kindergarten is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at the Dixon St Early Years Centre. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals for our children.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity, commencing immediately and concluding in December 2026. You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekends, nights, or public holidays. This role offers a stable and predictable work schedule, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for our children, using our state-of-the-art kitchen facilities.
• Design and deliver menus that cater to the dietary requirements of our children, working closely with our Kitchens Operations Supervisor.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless meal service and a positive dining experience for our children.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or relevant experience in cooking for young children or in a large commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of menu planning for dietary and nutritional requirements.
• A valid Blue Card and current Police Check (or willingness to obtain these within three months).
