Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at C&K Dixon St Early Years Centre. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious and delicious meals for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals and snacks for our children, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our children.
- Work closely with our Kitchens Operations Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- A competitive hourly rate of $28.62-$33.56.
- A stable and fixed-term contract until December 2026.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Quality Food Supervisor Certificate.
- Previous experience in cooking for young children or in a large commercial kitchen.
- Knowledge of menu planning for dietary and nutritional requirements.
- A valid Blue Card and current Police Check.
