Job Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced swimming instructor to join our swim program at the Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre in Kangaroo Flat.

The Role

This key position involves teaching effective swimming and water safety skills to children and adults in a safe and supportive environment. You will have a passion for swimming and making children safer around water, with a flair for working with children of diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taught swimming and water safety skills to children and adults in a safe and supportive environment
  • Developed and implemented lesson plans that catered to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Maintained accurate records of student progress and provided feedback to parents
  • Worked effectively as part of a team to achieve program goals and objectives
Requirements
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Working With Children Check and National Police Check
  • Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
