Swimming Instructor Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Swimming Instructor to teach effective swimming and water safety techniques to students of all ages and abilities.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, including children and adults, and develop your skills as a teacher and communicator. You must be energetic, dynamic, and fun, with a flair for working with children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach swimming and water safety techniques to students of all ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of swimming and water safety techniques and best practices
Requirements:
  • Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent)
  • National Police Check
  • Current Swimming and Water Safety Teacher Certificate
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics (Desirable)
  • AUSTSWIM Teacher of Aquatics Access and Inclusion (Desirable)
