As a Closure and Environmental Liabilities Specialist, you will have experience in providing technical advice regarding closure strategies, cost estimating, and implementation across various sectors.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals providing support and advice to clients across all market sectors. You will work on complex challenges related to environmental management, asset closure, and rehabilitation.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients to manage their asset closure strategies and costs
  • Assess the reasonableness of closure plans and cost estimates that underlie our clients' reported closure and environmental provisions
  • Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategy, solutions, methodologies, analytical frameworks, and tools to help clients succeed
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key decision-makers
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of cost estimating and modelling for large resources assets
  • Understanding of common asset closure techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Ability to understand complex risks associated with asset closure
  • Tertiary degree in a related field, preferably Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Finance
  • Strong project and time management skills and written and oral communication skills
