Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our Climate Change and Sustainability Services initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise regarding closure strategies, cost estimating, and implementation across the mining, oil and gas, and energy sectors.

  • Support clients in devising asset closure plans and managing associated costs
  • Evaluate the reasonableness of closure plans and cost estimates for financial assurance teams
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to strategy development, solutions, methodologies, and tools for clients navigating complex regulatory environments and stakeholder expectations associated with asset closures
  • Support ESG due diligence and sustainability assurance and advisory services, particularly across resources and heavy industry sectors
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Detailed knowledge of cost estimating/modelling for large-scale resource assets
  • Understanding of common asset closure techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Able to comprehend complex risks associated with asset closure
  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or similar disciplines
