Job DescriptionThis role involves providing excellent service to members of the community, representing a Local Government authority in a call centre environment. The successful candidate will have previous customer service experience, ideally within Local Government or Council, and own transport.
You will be working in a council located in the Eastern suburbs, as part of a team to undertake frontline call centre tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing accurate and timely information to members of the public via telephone and email;
- Maintaining a positive image of the Council through professional standards of personal presentation and provision of services/advice in a courteous and efficient manner;
- Delivering service to a high-volume call centre while contributing to Key Performance Indicators.
To be successful, you will need to have experience in face-to-face and high-volume telephone customer services, demonstrated experience within a call centre environment, and strong communication skills, written and verbal.
