About the Role
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity exists to join us as a Relationship Manager within our Regulatory Compliance (RC) solution line at LexisNexis (part of RELX).
This role reports into our Senior Sales Manager within a team of sales professionals. This permanent full-time position will be based in Sydney with flexibility to work from home or the office to achieve a balance between work and life.
The purpose of this role is to drive, maintain and grow an existing portfolio of Regulatory Compliance customers while building effective relationships with key stakeholders. The role will be focused on relationship-building and closing capabilities with strong growth targets.
Responsibilities
1. Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to build a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology.
2. Collaborate with Product Specialists, Marketing, and Business Development teams to identify modular upsell and like-for-like growth opportunities.
3. Regular client visits to promote and demonstrate Lexis Nexis solutions.
4. Maintain and grow an existing portfolio of Regulatory Compliance customers.
5. Build sales pipeline to achieve monthly or quarterly sales revenue growth targets, visit rates, and renewal rates.
6. Accurately record customer and prospective customer contact status in the CRM.
7. Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
8. Attend fortnightly sales meetings and represent the solution line.
9. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the entirety of the LexisNexis RC technology portfolio including products and services/education offerings.
Requirements
1. Appropriate degree qualifications with relevant work experience preferably in the Compliance solutions market.
2. Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in a prominent organisation where structured sales and consultative selling approaches are used.
3. Prior experience in solution sales or subscription sales is essential.
4. Demonstrated performance against sales objectives.
5. Experience and training in high-level account management and client relationship development.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to make persuasive presentations to various audiences.
7. Confidence in dealing with risk and compliance customers and other decision-makers is essential.
8. Proven ability to maintain awareness of the risk and compliance market and LexisNexis solution offerings.
9. A team player with problem-solving skills who is driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
