We are seeking a visionary Senior Logistics Manager to lead our state-of-the-art, 80% automated facility in West Melbourne. This role can initially be FIFO, with the ultimate goal of relocating to Melbourne, supported by our generous relocation package.

This is a golden opportunity to shape a dynamic team at the forefront of warehousing innovation. As a Senior Logistics Manager, you will champion operational excellence and sustainable practices, setting new standards in warehouse management.

About the Role
  • This isn't your typical management position; it's a trailblazing journey for those passionate about sustainability, groundbreaking innovation, and operational mastery.
  • Roster: Monday - Friday
  • Role Located: West Melbourne, VIC (Initial FIFO arrangement with relocation package)

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Business Management / Lean manufacturing / 6 Sigma or demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Ability to develop strategy in line with Komatsu's warehousing objectives and convert this to operational results
  • Proven experience with implementing and optimizing automation solutions in warehousing environments, including familiarity with robotic systems, automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), and warehouse management software integration.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability leading a highly productive team for results excellence
  • Previous experience in DC parts operation or a warehouse environment in the construction or mining (heavy) equipment industry
  • Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (paper less) and Inventory Management principles
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an active supervisor, managing a team of 50+ people
