The role of a Fuel Process Specialist is to oversee the efficient transfer of data between fuel suppliers, fuel supply systems, and fuel accounting systems.

This involves managing back-office data processes to ensure timely and accurate data exchange.

Data transfer errors between fuel supply and accounting systems will need to be identified and rectified promptly.

  • Determine root causes of missing pricing requests and resolve issues.
  • Audit monthly and ensure new supply points are set up correctly.
  • Track project metrics and lead the team in adopting a more streamlined approach to managing new and expiring contract pricing formulas.
  • Manage wholesale setups process in fuel supply and accounting systems.
  • Assist with invoice verification process to ensure correct pricing is calculated based on contract formulas, rack, or day deal pricing.
  • Identify mismatched pricing and work with the team and accounting to find a resolution.
  • Assist with pricing research and historical data transfer between systems.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of relevant business experience, proficiency in SAP and Windows-based Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong people skills, and analytical skills.
