Key Role in Maintenance Execution

The Maintenance Specialist plays a vital part in supporting frontline maintenance activities across fixed plant operations. This role provides essential support during breakdowns, assists in complex repairs, and ensures timely fault resolution to minimise equipment downtime.

This position focuses on enhancing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), resolving recurrent equipment issues, and delivering safe and effective maintenance outcomes. It acts as a technical mentor to trades personnel and ensures a high standard of workmanship is maintained across all tasks.

  • Execute or Guide Complex Repairs
  • Participate in Fault Investigations

This position requires a trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaking or equivalent, and strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities on fixed plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems in a mining environment and be able to lead or mentor other trades during breakdown or shutdown activities.
