Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Maintenance Engineer oversees daily maintenance operations, driving improvements in Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) across all fixed plant equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with all site safety systems, statutory requirements, and company standards.
  • Support engineering design reviews and contribute to project scopes.
  • Provide direct technical support during equipment breakdowns to reduce MTTR.
  • Lead root cause investigations into unplanned equipment failures.
  • Support development and review of work scopes and job plans for complex tasks.
  • Liaise with planners, supervisors, and trades to ensure timely and quality repairs.
  • Review and verify corrective maintenance activities and technical reports.
  • Coordinate contractor activities for critical equipment repairs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to optimize plant availability.
