Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with site safety systems, statutory requirements, and company standards.
  • Support engineering design reviews and contribute to project scopes.
  • Provide direct technical support during equipment breakdowns to reduce MTTR.
  • Lead root cause investigations into unplanned equipment failures.
  • Support development and review of work scopes and job plans for complex tasks.
  • Liaise with planners, supervisors, and trades to ensure timely and quality repairs.
  • Review and verify corrective maintenance activities and technical reports.
  • Coordinate contractor activities for critical equipment repairs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to optimize plant availability.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
  • Initiative and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration and teamwork in multi-disciplinary environments.

  • Able to prioritise tasks in high-pressure operational environments.
