Key Maintenance Role

The role of a skilled maintenance professional is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of fixed plant facilities. This position plays a key part in supporting frontline maintenance activities, providing hands-on assistance during breakdowns, and contributing to complex repairs to minimize equipment downtime.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols, statutory requirements, and company standards to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance plant efficiency and availability.
  • Provide prompt support during breakdowns to facilitate rapid equipment recovery and minimize Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Execute or guide complex repairs and maintenance tasks to guarantee safe and reliable plant operation.
About The Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled maintenance professional with a trade certificate in Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaking, or a related field, along with extensive experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems within a mining environment.

  • Demonstrate strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities on fixed plant equipment.
  • Possess practical experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems in a mining setting.
  • Be able to lead or mentor other trades during breakdown or shutdown activities.
