Claims Consultant Role

Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join their team in the insurance industry.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, with rotational shifts between the hours of 6am – 6pm, Monday – Saturday. Shifts will be rostered with one Saturday shift every 2-3 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with customers to provide empathetic and professional support.
  2. Act as the initial lodgement point for customers.
  3. Negotiate options as required for accurate processing of claims.
  4. Work within set procedures and standards to ensure all claims are processed in an efficient and effective manner.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of claims management experience or similar in a complex Customer Service environment.
  • Great communication and phone skills.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Highly organised and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to show empathy and compassion by providing best commercial outcome.
