This role is key in overseeing software deliveries of our products and solutions.

About the Opportunity
  • We are seeking a seasoned Software Delivery Lead to join our team. As a key member, you will oversee the delivery and maintenance of mobile solutions throughout the Software Development, Deployment, and Support Lifecycle.
  • As a leader, you will be responsible for proactive schedule management for software delivery, leveraging best practices and tools to track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion.
  • You will proactively manage delivery dependencies across teams, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery through data analysis, collaboration, and risk mitigation.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent planning and management skills, ensuring timely and efficient delivery, as well as maintaining professional delivery standards through robust quality processes and continuous improvement.
  • The successful candidate will support pre-sales with bid and tender preparation, including forecasting effort, cost, and pricing for deployments.
  • They will also be responsible for the planning and management of change requests, including the coordination of requirements gathering and effort estimation.
  • In addition, they will provide timely resolution to critical production issues affecting end-users, requiring collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and customers and occasional after-hours work.
  • A customer-first approach and mindset are essential, consistently considering the customer's perspective and potential impact on all decisions, tasks, and release management activities.
  • The ideal candidate will support the Scrum Team's daily tasks, aligning with Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies based on alignment with customer ways of work.

This role offers an opportunity to improve and standardize software delivery management across customer engagements through proactive leadership.

The successful candidate will gain an understanding of and document the customer's requirements and business processes.

They will provide advice, support, recommendations, and technology-based solutions based on Motorola product(s) to address the customer's business needs.

Additionally, they will identify issues, risks, and benefits of proposed solutions and outline business impact.

Finally, they will provide support to the scrum team during the implementation phase to deliver a solution that aligns with the customer's requirements and agreed schedule, while adhering to established workflows and practices.
