Job Description

This role requires a seasoned project manager to oversee the delivery of software products and solutions in the Melbourne Design Centre. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, coordination, and planning skills to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive schedule management for software delivery, utilizing best practices and tools to track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion
  • Proactive management of delivery dependencies across MDC teams, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery through data analysis, collaboration, and risk mitigation
  • Proactive planning and management of delivery resources, including access, security, equipment, tools, and engineering allocation, to ensure timely and efficient delivery
Requirements
  • Leadership and Planning Skills: Strong leadership, coordination, and planning skills are required for the team to meet their goals and objectives
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis with the ability to effectively assess delivery and performance metrics to make informed decisions
  • Strong Communication Skills: Capable of effectively communicating with a wide range of internal and external technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
Technical Competencies:
  • A Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in delivery management in a technical environment (3 - 5 years) and a strong understanding of software development methodologies and practices (3 - 5 years)
