Job Title: Engineering Team Lead

 

This role is responsible for managing two Security Operations Engineering teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in managing software delivery and engineering teams using Lean and/or Agile techniques. They will possess high emotional intelligence, a growth mindset, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining positive relationships with peers and team members
  • Coaching and developing team members to achieve high performance
  • Ensuring team's delivery pipeline flows at a predictable pace
  • Developing accurate and sustainable delivery systems
  • Providing informed estimates and capacity planning
  • Understanding and addressing team product health
  • Advocating Xero Engineering Standards
  • Troubleshooting production issues and ensuring post-incident learnings are collected
  • Creating a culture of psychological safety and inclusion
