Senior Legal Counsel Job Opportunity

This is a unique chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic business environment where your legal expertise will directly support strategic growth, market expansion and governance excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive legal support on corporate transactions including acquisitions, divestments, capital initiatives, joint ventures and shareholder matters.
  • Advise on directors' duties, corporate structures and regulatory compliance, partnering closely with the Governance, Finance, and Strategy teams.
  • Draft, negotiate and review a range of corporate and commercial agreements, balancing legal risk with business objectives.
  • Contribute to Board and committee reporting on governance and regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with ASX Listing Rules and governance standards.
  • Assist with key projects such as policy development, investor engagement initiatives and annual general meeting.
About You:
  • 6+ years' PQE in corporate law, with solid grounding in M&A and corporate governance from either private practice or a listed in-house environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules.
  • Ability to distil complex legal issues into clear, commercially pragmatic advice for senior executives.
  • Collaborative approach with a knack for building trusted relationships across the business.
