Claims Investigation Specialist

Our goal is to deliver high-quality results through prompt communication and thorough investigation of low-value claims.
Key Responsibilities- Manage liability claims in accordance with industry best practices.
- Analyse first reports to determine the nature of loss, coverage provided and scope of injury/damage.
- Conduct investigations into all aspects of reported claims including potential fraud.
- Establish accurate and timely reserves.
- Provide exceptional service standards in line with industry guidelines.
- Maintain an active diary to achieve timely development of the file and timely disposition of the claim.
- Promptly document all developments on the claim file.
- Exercise sound judgement in reaching final claim disposition.
- Negotiate settlements where appropriate.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Recognise and pursue subrogation opportunities.
- Relevant tertiary or insurance qualifications.
- Minimum 2 years' liability claims experience.
- Broad knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective workflow management skills.
- Strong customer focus.
- Proven team player.
