Salary

The salary for this position is approximately $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This competitive salary reflects the importance of this role in driving the success of our kitchen operations.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Manager to lead our kitchen team and drive operational excellence. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for aiding in the training and growth of the entire kitchen team, as well as supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing key metrics such as COGS, labor, and operating expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Aiding in the training and growth of the entire kitchen team.
  • Supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing key metrics such as COGS, labor, and operating expenses.
  • Ensuring high-quality food products and excellent customer service standards are consistently met.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a kitchen/ cooking role within a busy hospitality environment.
  • Experience leading and developing a team.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and explain key kitchen financial performance indicators including cost of goods, labor costs and wastage.
  • Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent experience.
  • Sound understanding of food safety concerns.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
