Procurement Excellence Role

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our contract and procurement activities, executing the full tender and contract lifecycle while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and systems.

This key role plays a vital part in delivering best-value purchasing outcomes, overseeing commercial terms, tender documentation, evaluation, and stakeholder communication.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of tender and contract management processes.
  • Support contract holders in contract management and transition strategies.
  • Manage contract performance, amendments, and closure processes.
  • Maintain and enhance procurement systems, including audit compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in purchasing systems and vendor performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of tenders and contracts.
  • Understanding of effective procurement systems and practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Formal qualifications in contract management or purchasing, or membership of CIPS is highly regarded.
