Procurement Leadership Role

About the Job:

This strategic role plays a crucial part in overseeing contract and procurement activities across Port Waratah.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the execution of tender and contract processes, including preparation of commercial terms, tender documentation, evaluation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Supporting contract holders with effective contract management and transition strategies.
  • Ensuring successful contract performance, amendments, and closure align with business goals.
  • Maintaining and enhancing procurement systems, including contractor management.
  • Developing and implementing best-value purchasing strategies to achieve optimal results.

This position requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of procurement principles and practices, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Necessary Qualifications include:
