Contract and Procurement Professional

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Contract and Procurement professional to join our Finance team. As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in the effective and efficient management of our procurement and contracting processes.

Key responsibilities include coordinating tendering and contracting processes to meet commercial, regulatory, and ethical standards; managing contract compliance and renewals; and maintaining contracts databases and vendor relationships.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement concepts and processes.

  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures
  • Maintain programs for vendor analysis and cost reduction
  • Conduct frequent analysis of expenditure across the organisation

You will also have the opportunity to develop and improve procurement systems, processes, and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or a related field, as well as previous experience in a procurement environment.

Additional skills and qualifications include knowledge of procurement software applications, integrated business systems, and a demonstrated competence in PC applications.

Previous experience working in the health, aged care, or community services sectors is desirable but not essential.
